So, I know that this is post overload, but I couldn't resist posting a picture of my new entry table. I have waited so patiently to get a table and we finally found a reasonably priced one at R.C. Willey a week ago, not to mention, we had a gift card we needed to use. I was so bummed when they told me I would have to wait two days for it to get to the warehouse so I could pick it up, but I finally got it and I am loving it. It gives me another great place to decorate for the holidays. Anyway, sorry to bore you, but I wanted to post a pic for my mom to see. Love ya mom!

Happy Halloween!
I am sad because today is feeling like just another day. I love holidays! I can't wait until I have a big family and we can do lots of fun Halloween stuff together. We didn't even carve pumpkins this year. I did put Ava in a cute Halloween shirt and, yes, she is trying to eat the ghost. Note to self: "Don't do photo shoots before Ava gets her breakfast." I just hope that it starts feeling a little more Halloween-y when the trick-or-treaters start showing up.
My SCARY attempt!
Okay, so this is my first attempt at a digital scrapbooking page. I am having problems adding little embellishments right without it pulling up a white box behind it, so this page doesn't have any cute ribbons or anything. Hopefully, I will get it figured out. I have been using Photoshop Elements and it isn't too difficult for the most part, I just can't figure out the white box problem.
Hopefully from here the pages will just keep getting better and better. I just can't wait until I figure out how to add all of the cute embellishments because they are what really complete a page in my opinion.
These pictures are of Ava dressed in her $1 bin Target specials (hat and socks). Only $2 and what do you get... a great photo shoot opportunity, can't beat that deal!
Well, I am a little addicted to this digital scrapbooking.Yesterday, I spent all of my Ava-free time downloading tons of free stuff. I honestly cannot believe how much free stuff is out there, there is no need to ever buy any supplies. My husband had no idea how little it would cost him when he got me the Photoshop Elements program. Cheapest hobby I have ever had and no where near as overwhelming as traditional scrapbooking, which I just never could bring myself to do.

It's Halloween!
I cannot believe it is already Halloween, it really snuck up on me this year. I just barely put decorations out this past weekend. I am really sad about this because normally I really like to make a big deal out of holidays, and I always bake and decorate sugar cookies, but I just didn't get to it this year.
This past weekend was a fun one. Friday night, we left Ava with my great sister-in-law Tiffani while we went on our first official date since Ava was born. Boy was it fun. We were invited to a Halloween costume party at a comedy sportz club. We went with our friends Zach and Cassie and had a blast. We dressed up '70's style (check our Josh's shoes) and they dressed up country. The comedy sportz show was so much fun and it was so nice to have a night without Ava, even though we were both missing her like crazy.
Saturday was our ward Trunk-or-treat. We have a huge ward and it was a little chaotic, but it was really great. We were able to dress Ava up in her little pumpkin costume and show her off. The best part was the costume was nice and toasty and it put her right to sleep. I can't wait until she is a little older and can understand it all a little bit better.
I have been experimenting with the digital scrapbooking. Thanks Jessica, for helping me get started. It is very addicting. I am working on a Halloween page right now and will post it soon.
Hope everyone else has a great Halloween!

What Would Life be Like Without Friends...
Today I put Ava in this cute little outfit after church. It was a gift from my best friend Lindsy. Ever time I have looked at Ava today it made me realize how lucky I am to have such a great friend and great friends in general. I have been home from St. George a little over a week and I am really starting to miss all of my great friends like crazy. It was so nice to spend time with all of you while I was down there and of course there just wasn't enough time. Linds, thanks so much for this cute outfit, I can't wait for you to start having children, they will be the best dressed kids around. I'm missin' ya and hope to see you soon.
Ava's Little Slice of Heaven
My mom has been bugging me to post pictures of Ava's nursery and I decided that it would be a perfect time to blog about it considering that we just moved Ava up to her nursery this past week. Let me just tell you, it was the best thing we have ever done! She is sleeping so well and so are we. The first night was a little rough, for me at least. Ava slept great, I watched the baby monitor all night. After that first night it was smooth sailing and she is doing great. Well, I couldn't get a good picture of the whole room, so I had to do it in sections. You can probably figure out how it fits all together. The door in the bottom left pic, is the door to her room. The closet is to the right of the quilt. As you can see, I have realized that I have a little addiction to buying baby clothes. I am getting it under control though.
I decided to make all of Ava's bedding because I couldn't find anything I loved, it ended up keeping me good and busy while I was pregnant. The quilt was the first project and it took me so long by the time I sewed, undid the sewing, and then resewed almost every step, I also hand-stitched all the ladybugs and sayings on the tan squares (my favorite part) but I sure enjoyed it. The quilt will never be a cuddle quilt, after all that work it will just look cute hanging on the wall. The next project was the bumper pads, a piece of cake. Followed by the crib skirt and I just recently finished the window valance. I also made the four silhouette pictures and the small beginnings sign. My dad helped me build a frame for it when he was up for Ava's blessing and the writing is actually a vinyl sticker, I just had to paint the red and green. It ended up being a little bigger project than I realized, but I love how it turned out. I also have to give a shout out to my baby brother, Drew, for making the little shelf by Ava's crib in shop class and to my sister, Kelcie, for making the cute blanket on the window seat along with two other really cute quilts. I am still working on filling in the cubby holes around the window with decorations. My last few projects for the room are I need to make a window seat cushion, either find or sew some curtains, and put the vinyl sticker ladybugs above the window area. I would also love to find a big, red, oval, braided rug for the floor but I don't want to spend an arm and a leg so I am just taking my time. I would also like to paint a wall red, but I can't get the guts up to paint my nice walls.
It has been so much fun spending time with Ava in her room this past week. It is so nice to finally be using the space that I took so much time preparing for her. The other night we had Ava sitting in the little rocking chair, which was Josh's rocking chair when he was a little kid, and reading books to her out of the basket. She was actually enjoying it! It was so much fun. I can't wait to watch her play in her room someday!

Catching Up!
Well, this may seem like a random collage of pictures, which it kind of is. It is a little bit of everything we have been doing in the past couple of weeks and boy have we been busy. Life has finally slowed down a little and I have a few seconds to post.
A week ago, last Thursday, we loaded up our little family (Me, Josh, Ava, and three puppies) to head down to St. George to visit with family. We got up early Thursday morning and what usually is a nine-hour drive, took us twelve hours! Josh headed over to his mom's house with Ava and the puppies while I was off the musical 42nd Street at Tuacahn with my family. It was a great show! We spent the rest of the weekend spending time with my family, while Josh worked. We had so much fun and ran around like crazy. Josh headed back to Boise on Sunday with the dogs and Ava and I spent the rest of the week in St. George getting together with friends and spending time with my mom. Ava and I went non-stop! We had so many friends to see! It was so nice to visit with all of them and realize that the relationships were still there even though we don't live close by anymore. While I was there I made four trips to Cafe Rio, I can never get sick of that place. My grandpa, aka the Grape, spoiled me rotten, he invited me to the favorite grandchild luncheon at the China Palace and also took me out to the Blue Bunny Icecream Parlor, he sure knows how to treat a girl. It was so great to spend time with him, he sure hold a special place in my heart. Thanks Grape! My dad made it home to spend a couple days with us before we had to head home. My brother and sister and her husband also came down. It was so great to get to spend time with so much of my family. The top two pictures were taken on my camera phone at the Blue Bunny. I love the one of my dad and Ava. I literally took my camera everywhere with me in St. George and never snapped any photos except the one of Ava on the top right. We just never took a second to take a picture, which I am very sad about now. But we sure had a great time and I am missing everyone already. While we were there Ava, my mom, and I all came down with a pretty bad cold. I am not sure who gave it to who, but all I know is that we were all miserable and lacking sleep.
Friday morning, we swung by Bobbie's (Josh's mom) house to pick her up and we were off to catch a flight out of Vegas. I was so excited to have Bobbie coming home with us. Josh sure was excited to see all of his girls. I think he got a little lonely while we were gone and it felt so good to be home. Bobbie spent the weekend with us and spoiled us with homemade beef stew one night and oatmeal every morning. It was so great. It was her first time up here to visit us so it was fun to show her our house, a little bit of Boise and how it all fits into our lives. It was a quick trip but we enjoyed her company. The puppies mauled her to death every chance they got and Ava got a chance to get to know her Grandma Barbie. We were sad to send her home yesterday and the house is seeming so quiet today with it just being Ava and I here.
Both Ava and I are finally starting to feel a little better, but now we are starting from scratch with putting Ava on a schedule. She is not eating or sleeping normal. So hopefully she will get right back on track. I am so sad to say that I don't have a whole lot that I am looking forward to now. I guess I need to start planning the next trip so I can have something to look forward to again. I guess the holidays are coming up and for those of you who know me I do love holidays and I am very party-rific!
