New Mom/New Blogger

Well, I guess I ought to stop postponing the inevitable. It is time to become a blogger. Being clear up here in Boise, has made me realize that I need to have an easy way of keeping my family and friends up to date on our lives and of course our new little girl, Ava. She is only a week and three days old and already she has changed so much. We have been blessed with a really easy baby, keep your fingers crossed she stays that way. She sleeps for three to four hours at a time and is feeding great. I can't believe how in love both Josh and I are.

We are trying to figure out what normal is again. After five years of being just Josh and I, it has been strange to have someone else occupying our time. My parents were up here for the first week of Ava's life and it has been hard this week trying to keep up on everything, plus become comfortable with caring for a newborn without the help and support of my parents. Luckily they will be back up in a couple of weeks for Ava's blessing.

Well, keep checking my blog site because I am going to get really good at updating it.

YEY!! Lindzer - I am so excited you are a blogger! You will love it, but it can become addicting, so beware! Can't wait to see more!!

Lindsie - Ok, so I totally saw that you started a page off of Pam's blog, and I thought it was such a small world because I totally know you! This is Kristen (Cox) Lotz, from the El Ed program. Pam and I have been friends for ages, and I didn't realize you two know each other... small world! Anyway, your new daughter is beautiful, congrats!

Hey Kristen, thanks for checking my blog. I have actually been reading yours since I noticed it on Pam's site, but I never knew how to leave a comment until Pam gave me a lesson the other day, so now I can start leaving comments. I am so excited to be keeping tabs on someone from the cohort. The only people I ever talk to anymore are Lindsy Lefler and Wendy Taylor.

Well, that's a little better than me! I haven't talked to anyone in forever. Well, I did make Aliese Chipmans wedding invitations and Jake Hunt got hired on at the school I taught at before I had Kate... so I've kept in a tiny bit of contact, but not much! I'm so curious to know what everyone is doing an how they are doing. Anyway, your little girl is adorable... love the name Ava. Anyway, I'm glad you have a blog!
